Acceptance

By using Kira (the "site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

What Kira is

Kira is a credit card comparison and matching tool. We help you estimate which Malaysian credit cards may suit your spending profile based on the numbers you provide.

Kira is not a financial adviser, not a bank, and not licensed by Bank Negara Malaysia. We do not provide regulated financial advice. All recommendations are generated algorithmically from publicly available card data and should be treated as informational only.

What Kira is not

• We do not guarantee approval for any card.
• We do not guarantee any specific cashback, points, or savings amount.
• We are not responsible for the terms, rates, or conduct of any bank, comparison site, or affiliate partner.
• We do not hold, transfer, or manage your money or credit.

Affiliate relationships

Kira earns commission when you click "Apply" on certain cards and complete an application via Involve Asia, RinggitPlus, iMoney, or directly through a bank. This does not affect how much you pay. We do not prioritise cards based on commission rate.

Intellectual property

All content, code, logic, and data on Kira are the property of the site operator. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify, or build derivative products using any of Kira's content, code, or logic without prior written permission from the site operator. Linking to Kira from your own site is welcome — taking our content is not.

Disclaimers and warranties

The site, the recommendation engine, and all content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, the site operator makes no warranty — express or implied — that:

• The information on the site is accurate, complete, or up to date.
• The recommendations are suitable for your circumstances.
• The site will be available without interruption, error, or security incident.
• Any specific outcome will result from using the site, including approval of any card application or any specific savings amount.

You acknowledge that card terms, promotional rates, and benefits change frequently, and that we may not reflect changes immediately.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, the site operator's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your use of Kira — whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise — is limited to the total amount you have paid to use Kira. Since Kira is free, this amount is RM 0.

We are not liable for:

• Any decision you make based on the recommendations.
• The conduct of RinggitPlus, iMoney, Involve Asia, or any bank — including their handling of your application, approval or rejection decisions, the terms they offer you, or any dispute that arises between you and them.
• Indirect, consequential, incidental, or special losses, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999. Where a statutory right or guarantee cannot be excluded, our liability for breach of that right is limited to the minimum extent permitted by that statute.

Third parties

Kira links to third-party sites — including RinggitPlus, iMoney, and bank application pages — and uses third-party services for site infrastructure and affiliate tracking. These third parties operate independently. We have no control over their content, policies, security, or conduct. Your dealings with any third party are entirely between you and them.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The "effective date" at the top will reflect the most recent version. If we make material changes, we will highlight them on the site for at least 30 days before they take effect.

Your continued use of the site after the effective date of any amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended terms. If you do not agree to an amendment, please stop using the site.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, the site, or your use of Kira will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia sitting in Kuala Lumpur.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the rest of the terms will remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable part will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed entirely if no such modification is possible.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the site operator concerning your use of Kira. They supersede any prior agreement, understanding, or representation on the same subject matter.
